About
The FAME Flagship
FAME – Flagship of Advanced Mathematics for Sensing, Imaging and Modelling is a multidisciplinary competence centre harnessing applied mathematics and physics for the benefit of the society. FAME will support economic progress in Finland through strong interaction with industry, training of experts, and boosting innovations and start-up companies. It increases global wellness through solutions for healthcare, clean industry, and sustainable environment. Furthermore, FAME supports mathematical skills and interest in science among children and young people, and contributes to mathematical training globally.
The FAME Flagship is part of the Research Council of Finland’s Flagship Programme.
