[PROGRAMME FINALISED] Connect & Collaborate Event 2026

The FAME Flagship warmly welcomes all interested companies and organisations to the Connect & Collaborate Event 2026, a full-day on-site event at the University of Eastern Finland’s Kuopio campus on 26 August 2026!

Aimed at company representatives from research, product development, and operations management, this event will focus on R&D-related challenges, scientific solutions, and real-life applications. Themes of the day’s sessions will be Medical Technology and Imaging and Industrial and Environmental Applications.

Expertise in advanced mathematics, applied physics, and computing drive forward new innovations and solutions to major global challenges. The FAME Flagship actively plans and seeks new avenues for co-operation to refine existing solutions and technologies and pioneer the creation of new practices.

FAME Connect & Collaborate Events bring together the Flagship’s scientific expertise and representatives from industry, hospitals, research institutions, and wider society to create connections, share knowledge, and envision future innovations.

The Connect & Collaborate Event 2026 also includes an opportunity to visit the local Biomedical Optical Imaging and Ultrasound (OPUS) and Kuopio Biomedical Imaging Unit (Kuopio-BIU) research laboratories with a guided tour.

Please note that places for the guided laboratory tours are limited and will be allocated in the order of registration.
