The Finnish Inverse Problems Society (FIPS) proudly presents the Helsinki Asteroid Challenge 2026 (HAC 2026).
FIPS invites all scientists and research groups to test their reconstruction algorithms on real-world data!
Light curve data for the challenge
The challenge focuses on recovering 3D asteroid models from photometric observations. The challenge data consists of lightcurves corresponding to ten different 3D models, and some additional information.

Deadlines
The deadline for registration is June 15, 2026, at 23:59 EEST (Eastern European Summer Time).
The deadline for submissions is August 31, 2026, at 23:59 EEST.
